Georgetown Debt

These charts are based on a word document provided by Town Hall
I typed the data into EXCEL, and generated these charts. (And added a lot more pages and information to the Excel sheet, so feel free to download an play with it to find out payout schedules and retirement dates for various projects, etc.)
Several questions remain, but here's a brief explanation:
1. The Town makes yearly payments of approx. $1.8 million to retire its outstanding debt of approx. $22 million.
2. Most of this debt is related to the schools (see listing below).
3. The state give us money to make these payments, approx. $1.2 million per year (for the schools).
4. That leaves approx. $600K in payments that we have to make, of which a good amount is related to
water and electrical expenses.
I'll be adding all data I can get as time goes by.

This chart shows what happens to the debt as we continue to pay our bills each year.
Note, however, that the town will enter into an agreement to buy more things (fire truck) and that may perhaps affect this chart.....
